Allegheny Wild & Scenic Clean-Up August 2019

A storm on July 19, 2019, in Venango County, flooded Deep Hollow Road and washed campers, automobiles, metal, aluminum, wood, axels, and other debris into the river. The Allegheny River Rats, Allegheny Valley Conservancy, Oil Region Alliance,  and other community organizations need your help to clean up the river, banks, islands, launches, and surrounding areas from the confluence of Lower Two Mile Run and the river south to Emlenton.

Allegheny Wild & Scenic River Clean-Up:
When: Sunday August 25, 2019 @ 10:00am

Where: Franklin Boat Launch (Elk Street, just up the street from OARS) 

What To Bring: Gloves and a Camera

What Will Be Provided: Trash bags. Dumpsters at Fisherman's Cove will be provided by Landscaping Connections. Lunch will be provided by the Butcher Block & the Allegheny River Rats.
